Meeting the scholars: Prof Crosling (second from right) getting to know (from left) Chawawa, Haris and Mekonnen.

BY year 2025, 260 million people worldwide are expected to pursue higher education. This is because nations need an educated populace in order to maintain their economic and social progress, said Sunway University dean of quality Prof Glenda Crosling.

Sunway University will be hosting the second Global Access to Post-Secondary Education (GAPS) Conference in 2015. The conference is themed “Meeting the Global Challenge” and is concerned with widening access and promoting equity in obtaining post-secondary education worldwide.
