The quality of what we eat contributes a great deal to the quality of our lives, and solutions to global food issues must be a priority for the scientific community, as well as all those involved in its production and supply.
ONE of the greatest contributions of science is the study and development of agriculture, agricultural practices, food manufacturing and supply, food production and its safe practices, and environmental issues that affect our quality of life, our health and sustainability – not only now, but also in the future. Agriculture is a way of life. It affects the global food chain which, in turn, impacts every single person.
