Charity begins with ice

Cold comfort: Prof Khong (centre) leads the pack in KDU’s latest charitable endeavour.

KDU University College (KDU UC) saw its students from the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts, organise the Ice Bucket Challenge to extend its efforts in helping the less fortunate.

Inspired by the popular fund-raising method which went viral around the globe this year, the students organised the initiative to raise funds so that the orphans at Rumah Amal Suci Rohani could enjoy a fun and educational trip to Legoland and Waterworld.
