MALAYSIAN lad Clifford Yin Shen Sia, formerly from Kian Kok Middle School, Kota Kinabalu, was recently awarded the Roentgenium Award, the top prize in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge.

More than 6,000 students across the United Kingdom participated in the challenge and only 66 of those students were awarded a Roentgenium award. Clifford scored in the highest category, which placed him in the top 1% of participants.
