A NEW technology developed by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) could increase crop yields and reduce fertiliser costs.
The system, called SoilProp, is a soil properties mapping system that is able to identify soil characteristics and fertility using ground sensors, global positioning systems, computers and software.
