A toast to individual expressions

FROM a humble start in an inconspicuous rented bungalow in 1967, the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) now has its own campus in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur.

In 2011, the non-profit arts school was awarded an outstanding Five-Star Rating in the then Higher Education Ministry’s (now known as the Education Ministry) Malaysia Quality Evaluation System (MyQuest) ratings. The MyQuest rates private institutions from one (poor) to six stars (excellent).
