CAMBODIA, Laos and Vietnam have taken the lead in ensuring that more children of school-going age are in schools, thus reducing the proportion of children who are out of school, according to a recent report.
The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) in a recent report said that while the three nations in Indo China had done well, Thailand had lagged behind as it was one of the world’s worst performers with higher numbers of school-going children, who were still out of school.
