PERHAPS the most iconic landmark in modern day Berlin is the glass dome of the Reichstag building (as shown on the front page of StarEducate).
Built as a symbol of the reunification of Germany, the dome is a 23.5m high structure with a diameter of 40m. It is made up of 400 tonnes of glass and 800 tonnes of steel.
