Scholarships for master's degree in Japan


IT IS the time of the year again! The Japanese Government is offering study awards to Malaysians wanting to pursue master’s degree courses in Japan.

Application for the Monbukagakusho Scholarship for the Young Leaders’ Pro-gramme (YLP) starts now and will close on Sept 20. Fees for entrance examination, matriculation and tuition at the universities will be exempted while a monthly allowance of approximately 242,000 yen (RM7,900), subject to change, will be given.
