Aiding flood evacuees Kudos to Girl Guides for lending a helping hand

THE public and members of the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia have responded generously to an appeal by the movement’s national president Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor for donations to the flood victims in the country.

Rosmah, who is the Prime Minister’s wife, and Girl Guides Chief Commissioner Normala Baharudin had on Dec 23 reached out to the public and the movement’s 100,000 members to come to the aid of the flood evacuees, whose number has exceeded 200,000.
