Symbolic and delightful gathering

MORE than 300 from the Chinese community and Women’s associations in Perak gathered to indulge in the meaningful tradition of Winter Solstice — making tang yuan, or glutinous balls.

Even though they were required to prepare the dessert at home beforehand, they still spared no effort in the presentation of this Chinese delight at the “Winter Solstice Creative Tang Yuan Tasting Gathering.”
