MIRI: Every district in Sarawak, especially in the rural regions, must have at least one full-fledged fire and rescue station that is manned by a team of full-time fire-fighters and rescue personnels.
At present, there are still so many rural districts that do not have any fire-stations and they rely on help from the fire-stations in the nearest city or town which could be very far away, said Sarawak PAS deputy commissioner Jofri Jaraiee yesterday.
