SIBU: The five branches of SUPP handed over a petition to Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) containing 19,269 signatures for the renaming of Jalan Hospital to Jalan Lau King Howe.
The petition was received by council secretary Hii Chang Kee from SUPP Sibu branch chairman Chieng Buong Toon, Bawang Assan branch chairman Robert Lau Hui Yew and Pelawan branch chairman Clarence Ting yesterday.
