VOLUNTEERISM is obviously alive in the hearts of Kuala Lumpur’s youth when more than 7,000 of them were seen joining hands to rejuvenate the historical street of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

Organised by Malaysia’s youth volunteer community, iM4U, the magnanimous effort by student volunteers from 220 universities saw them eagerly repainting identified old buildings, zebra crossings, roadside curbs and even benches along the street named after the first Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
