Hatchery blocks to boost fish population


JOHOR BARU: Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) hopes the government-linked companies (GLC) will come forward to assist poor fishermen by adopting the artificial fish hatchery blocks.

Department of Architecture, Faculty of Built Environment thesis coordinator research fellow Dr Alice Sabrina Ismail said the adoption would help to boost fish population in the South China Sea off Mersing waters.
