8,758 prisoners released after parole since its implementation in 2008

MALACCA: Prisoners, numbering 8,758, have been successfully released after completing their parole, said Home Ministry’s Deputy Secretary-general (Security) Datuk Alwi Ibrahim.

“A total of 9,390 prisoners received the parole order since the system was implemented in the country in 2008.
