CHESS players from 19 countries, including Malaysia, battled it out during the 6th Penang Heritage City International Chess Open at the Red Rock Hotel in Jalan Macalister.
Timo Akkanen, 50, from Finland, was among the 300 players who took part in the four-day tournament which ends today.
