THE first movie in the world to use the Penang Hokkien dialect, peppered with colloquial injections of English and Malay, is heading for the silver screen next year.

Written and directed by filmmaker Saw Teong Hin, the movie is called ‘Hai Ki Xin Lor: You Mean the World to Me’.
