Major task: Ipoh City Council workers clearing the debris from Sungai Pari which was stuck under the bridge in Manjoi, causing a flash flood in the surrounding areas.
THE Ipoh City Council is currently identifying and taking remedial measures in areas that are prone to flash floods.
A city council spokesman said so far they have identified several areas that are usually inundated during heavy rain and would begin maintenance works to alleviate the problem.
