MIRI: The Home Ministry has warned federal enforcement agencies in Sarawak to buck up and to be more aggressive in tackling corrupt-practices in the timber sectors in the state.

The fight against corrupt-practices in Sarawak’s logging industry is a matter of great national interest to Putrajaya - because timber-corruption in Sarawak had over the years badly dented the country’s image at the global stage, said Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
