Temple gets tax exempt for joss stick urns

THE Kong Hock Keong board of trustees has been given an exemption of import duty and sales tax for the bronze joss stick urns from China which will be arriving at the Goddess of Mercy Temple in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling next month.

State Wanita MCA chief Ooi Siew Kim presented the certificate to chief abbot Datuk Seri Venerable Seck Jit Heng on behalf of Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong.
