SIBU: A lawyer, Abun Sui led a group called Gerakan Anak Sarawak (GASAK) to protest against Baram dam and all the mega dams to be built in the state as he understood the people’s suffering.
“Affected people caused by mega dams are suffering for loosing their huge size of NCR. Even until today people of Asap in Belaga are still having problems effected by Bakun Dam,” he said in his rebuttal to an assistant minister who questioned whether he (Abun) knew what he was doing.
