Inaugural event held in conjunction with World Prematurity Day

HUNDREDS of people gathered at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Recreational Park (polo ground) in Ipoh to attend the inaugural nationwide World Prematurity Day recently.

The Perinatal Society of Malaysia, together with AbbVie, a global biopharmaceutical company, initiated the event to raise awareness on preterm birth, its impact and to reduce the risk of having a premature baby.
