Star Wars’ latest animation series, Star Wars Rebels.
In conjunction with Malaysia International Puppetry Festival 2014, Muka Space & PuppetKu’s Theatre is presenting the Traditional Sri Lankan Dances performed by Sri Lanka Puppet Art Museum and Ritual Scissors Dance performed by Jose Navarro “Pishtaco” at Theatre Lounge Cafe until tomorrow. Portraits and People is a rare exhibition by five artists — Samjis Mat Jan, Min Yin Thant, Shamsuri Atan, Anas Hanafi and Syed Nahar — with different techniques and styles. Portraits of great Malaysian artists Datuk Syed Ahmad Jamal, Datuk Ibrahim Hussein, Datuk Hosssein Anas and Tew Nai Tong as well as drawings of prominent leader Lee Kuan Yew and the newly elected Indonesian President Jokowi are among the pieces featured in this exhibition. And one must not miss the Lady In Green, a special feature art piece by Malaysia’s senior portrait painter Samjis Mat Jan. The exhibition will be held from today until Dec 3 at IGLSTUDIO, Unit G5, Ground Floor, D6 Sentul East, Jalan Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.
