MIRI: The anti-corruption drive sparked off by Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem to weed out corrupt practices in Sarawak is getting all-round support from the people on the streets, according to feedback gathered by the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP).
SUPP secretary-general Datuk Sebastian Ting said that since Adenan had gone public with his criticisms of corruption in the state, particularly in the timber logging sectors, there are clear signs that enforcement agencies are starting to buck up and are more serious now in tackling the corruption menace on the ground.
