TORAY Group (Malaysia) is set to save 20% in energy and reduce its carbon emission by 30% starting from 2016, in line with its Green and Environmental friendly objectives.
Its managing director Hiroshi Yoshimura said Toray Group recently concluded a deal with Gas Malaysia Energy Advances Sdn Bhd (GMEA), a joint-venture company established by Energy Advance Co Ltd of Japan and Gas Malaysia Berhad, to operate and utilise a ‘Gas Turbine Co-Generation Systems’ at its premises in Prai, Penang.
