Need to uplift English command


IT came as no great surprise to hear that many Malaysian public university graduates cannot speak English properly despite having good grades on paper.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin told Parliament recently that although graduates scored well in reading and writing, they were not as proficient in speaking English.
