DBKL hosts Deepavali celebration for foreigners at KL City Gallery


MORE than 1,000 tourists immersed themselves in the sights, sounds and tastes of the KL Deepavali Festival for Tourists recently.

Serenaded by the dhol drum beats of the Malaysian Punjabi Bhangra Association, Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib took the opportunity to thank the 110,000 Indian people of the capital city for their continuous contribution to the city’s socio-economic development.
