SIBU: A total of 221 people were awarded the Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara, the third in its series this year.
Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara is awarded to police officers and members of the Royal Malaysian Police to honour their heroic acts, sacrifice and service to the country during the emergency period from July 12, 1948 to July 31, 1960.
