Taxpayers told to take advantage of new incentives

KUCHING: Taxpayers should take advantage of the tax incentives announced by the government in Budget 2015.

Crowe Horwath Malaysia managing partner Poon Yew Hoe said these included double deduction for training in accounting and ICT for the Goods and Services Tax (GST), 200% capital allowances for automation equipment, 100% income tax exemption for five years for managing, maintaining and upgrading industrial estates in less developed areas and exemption of income for investments in SMEs via the investment account platform.
