SIBU: While the Chinese independent schools in Peninsular Malaysia have to reject new enrolment every year, the situation in the Sarawak is just the opposite.
Wong Nai Siong Secondary School board of management chairman Temenggong Vincent Lau in disclosing this yesterday said the schools in the peninsula had to turn down between 5,000 and 6,000 interested students every year as their student population had already reached the maximum capacity.
