IT has been 198 years since Penang Free School (PFS) was founded in 1816 but the legacy of founder Rev Robert Sparke Hutchings lives on.
A memorial service was held in honour of the founder at the Protestant Cemetery in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, George Town, where Rev Hutchings was laid to rest in 1827.
