Municipal council team edge veterans group out in league

THE Sungai Petani Municipal Council (MPSP) defeated Sungai Petani Veterans in the Kuala Muda district final of the inaugural Kedah Hockey League competition jointly organised by the Kedah Youth and Sports Department and Kedah Hockey Association.

The MPSP team emerged champion after beating Sungai Petani Veterans 1-0 in the final played at the Sungai Petani hockey stadium recently.
