AS A teenager in boarding school, Kamarozhar Abdul Kadir’s favourite pastime was playing carrom.

His interest in the sport started at the age of eight, when Kamarozhar would join his neighbours for a game. His passion continued throughout his schooling years at SK Iskandar in Alor Setar, Kedah and SM Tuanku Syed Putra in Kangar, Perlis.
