FATIN Nuorasiah Shahrudin, 14, and Nazrin Shuib, 18, from Tengku Mahkota Ismail Sports School (SSTMI B) in Bandar Penawar, Johor, surprised a field of 50 pairs to emerge the 2014 Mahsuri Cup mixed pair Lawn Bowling champions at the Langkawi Development Authority green in Kuah, Langkawi.
The untested pair from SSTMI thrashed the Pelapis C pair of Daeng Dhaddry Dahasry, 17, (Perlis) and Nor Fitrah Rosmadi, 14, (Sarawak) by 15-2 in the final on Saturday night.
