HEAVY rain brought misery to about 100 people in Kampung Mutiara near Sungai Satu in Batu Ferringhi, Penang, when the river overflowed and flooded their homes.
The villagers, comprising 11 households, live near the site of the RM2mil river rehabilitation project by a private developer.
