THERE had been mounting calls from certain groups of people in Sabah and Sarawak, in particular Opposition politicians and social activists, for a review of the Malaysia Agreement; with some of them even calling for the two east Malaysian states to break away from the federation.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had during the Sept 16 Malaysia Day celebrations in Miri warned these groups to stop their propaganda, and told them in no uncertain terms that he will not hesitate to use the full weight of the law against them if they continue to propagate such divisive ideas.
