FORMER Kedah players (playing as Ex-Kedahans X1) proved that they still had the sting as they overturned a 2-1 deficit at half-time to run out as 3-2 winners against Suriyothai FC from Pendang in a first round Tunku Panglima Besar knockout soccer tournament at the Istana Anak Bukit ground in Alor Setar.
Mohd Radzi Bakar scored twice in the 11th and 73rd minutes while Mohd Farouk Ismail got the other in the 69th minute for the Ex-Kedah team while Suriyothai FC’s goals were scored by Alecell (20th minute) and Survisin (43rd minute) during Sunday’s match.
