Barn Thai returns to the Klang Valley with a bang

Guitar vibes: Curtis livens up the second night of the Barn Thai Music Festival next week.

WHEN it comes to jazz music in the Klang Valley, one name that would be familiar to many long-time aficionados would have to be Barn Thai, the restaurant that served as one of the early venues for live jazz in the city.

Now, reopened in Plaza 33 in Petaling Jaya, the restaurant is kicking off its first four-day music festival, focusing not just on jazz but also blues, funk and opera, on Oct 1 from 9.30pm onwards.
