Being blind is no obstacle

KOTA KINABALU: A team of visually impaired men successfully made it to the summit of Mount Kinabalu in an effort to prove to others that they can do what many cannot have safely returned.

Group leader Isak Ngau, and eight others started their climb on Malaysia Day morning, and reached Laban Rata (the last checkpoint before the final stretch up to Low’s peak) at about 1.40am Wednesday.
