CAP: Act against officers who give out clam trawling permits

THE Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission has been urged to take sterner punitive action against Kedah Fisheries Department officers who had issued licences to clam trawler operators.

The Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) and Sahabat Alam Malaysia (SAM) also want the officers to be probed for alleged misuse of power.
