Let’s do our own challenge

THE ALS Ice Bucket Challenge took the world by storm recently. From celebrities to the girl or boy next door, people took up the challenge and recorded their acts on social networking sites.

In George Town, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng accepted the challenge and had a bucket of icy water poured on him during an Occupy Beach Street event. Joining him in separate events were several state assemblymen and Seberang Prai council president Maimunah Mohd Sharif, who were drenched in cold water before nominating others and donating to ALS research.
