RESIDENTS of Jalan Madras in Buntong are pleading with Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir to stop the upgrading of the crematorium at the Buntong Tamil cemetery near their homes.
Jalan Madras Buntong Residents Action Committee chairman T. Selvaratnam said only the state government could stop the Ipoh Hindu Devasthana Paripalana Sabah, the caretaker for the cemetery on state land, in its plans to upgrade the existing crematorium.
