WHILE spectacular Merdeka celebrations drew crowds towards the heart of the city in the name of unity, communities around the Klang Valley also warmly commemorated the day in their own way.
Rukun Tetangga (RT) SS24 Taman Megah Phase 2 honoured Merdeka with a modest but lively, cake-fuelled afternoon tea party with a Merdeka Cake-Making contest at the community field.
