KUCHING: Malaysia’s silent majority must not remain quiet against extremism and racial polarisation so that peace and harmony can be restored in the country.

Making this call, Sarawak PKR chairman Baru Bian expressed concern that the country was beset by racism, religious extremism, political persecution, institutionalised discrimination, increasing crime and a deterioration in inter-racial harmony and mutual respect among various groups.
