THE bright yellow Say Hong Chun “set sail” to the Buddha Pure Land in a ritual to assist the deceased to repent and prepare for rebirth.
The 7.3m-long by 4.87m-tall ship bearing the names of the deceased was set ablaze at the Hye Keat Estate during a ceremony held by the Sian Chye Tong Temple in Penang recently.
