TWENTY-TWO members of the Penang Girl Guides Association (PGGA) got down to housekeeping chores when they spent three hours at the association’s headquarters to clean the kitchen, toilets, rooms and wash the bicycles in the storeroom.

The guides, aged between 13 and 17, from several schools in the state carried out the chores to earn their Homemaker’s badge, which is a prerequisite for them to proceed and earn the All Round Cord, a cord they get to wear in recognition of their success and achievements.
