WWF supports move on certification

KUCHING: The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Malaysia welcomes the state government’s move to get Sarawak’s major timber licence holders to obtain internationally-recognised forest management certification by 2017.

Its executive director and CEO, Datuk Dr Dionysius Sharma, said this was a win-win solution in addressing environmental and industry needs to achieve sustainability.
