BUTTERFLY Recreation Club are back in the Super League of the Penang Chinese FA Senior League challenge.
The club, who were relegated last season, registered their fourth straight win in the Premier League to earn the promotion ticket.
Their 1-0 victory over Chew
Si SC also put them in an unas-
sailable lead to win the league crown with one match to spare as their closest rivals Chinese Wanderers were defeated by
Anak Malaysia 3-1 on the adjacent pitch.
The defeat to Anak Malaysia was a big blow to Chinese Wanderers who were out to make up for the disappointment of missing the cut to the Super League action last season.
The setback dented their hopes
of accomplishing a pre-season target of promotion to the Super League and had triggered a three-way fight with Bagan United and Anak Malaysia for the remaining promotion ticket.
