Villagers on the lookout for intruders out to damage their farms

Sand mining activities last year had turned a plot of land which was higher than the road level into a big pond filled with water in Malim Nawar now.

THE farmers in Malim Nawar New Village have been on the lookout for strangers in their vicinity of late.

Once they spot an unfamiliar face, they would gather together in defence. This is no siege mentality, just a safety measure.
